CRS 101 – Introduction to the Cayman Islands CRS Framework

This course introduces participants to the Cayman Islands Common Reporting Standard (CRS) framework. It explains the purpose of CRS, the Cayman Islands legislative and institutional framework, and the core obligations imposed on Reporting Financial Institutions. Participants will gain an understanding of who CRS applies to, how Financial Institutions and accounts are classified, the fundamentals of due diligence and reporting, confidentiality requirements, and the consequences of non-compliance.
